West Chester TAPS 2024

Every Wednesday from 5pm-7pm, from May 29th to August 28th, join the borough-wide happy hour known as West Chester TAPS. Various locations offer a select list of $5 beers, $6 wines, and $7 cocktails, along with appetizer specials. It's the perfect way to relax with friends or colleagues in downtown West Chester.

Gay Street Open-Air Market 2024

Starting May 3rd, the Gay Street Open-Air Market returns, transforming four blocks of Gay Street into a pedestrian paradise. Enjoy al fresco dining, shopping, and the vibrant atmosphere every weekend until September 29th. Restaurants extend into the street, offering a unique dining experience.

Location: Gay Street (from Matlack Street to Darlington Street) Schedule: Every weekend from Friday morning to Monday morning

West Chester Growers Market 2024

Experience Chester County’s original producer-only market, where local farmers and artisans bring their best produce and products. From fresh fruits and vegetables to baked goods and handcrafted items, this market is a hub of community spirit.

Location: Corner of North Church and West Chestnut Streets, Downtown West Chester, PA Schedule:

• May through December: Every Saturday from 9AM – 1PM
• January through April: 1st, 3rd & 5th Saturdays from 10AM – 12PM

Summer Picnic Train Ride 2024

Every Sunday from June 2nd to September 22nd, embark on a charming train ride from West Chester to Glen Mills. Pack a lunch and enjoy a picnic at the Glen Mills train station picnic grove. The 90-minute journey is a delightful way to spend a summer afternoon.

Tales & Ales
